1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Dew, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Dew is operated by Founding Llama. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Founding Llama.

2. Description of Service

Dew is a skincare product analysis app that provides personalized product verdicts based on your skin profile, including your skin type, sensitivities, goals, and current routine. Dew uses AI to analyze product ingredients and provide guidance — it does not provide medical advice.

Certain features are available for free. Additional features are available through a paid subscription, as described below.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Dew offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans:

  • Dew Monthly — $9.99 per month
  • Dew Annual — $39.99 per year

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.

You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time from your device's Account Settings. You can also manage subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change, but we will notify you in advance of any price increases.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Account Settings or through the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will continue to have access to premium features until then.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Free Trial

Dew may offer a free trial period for new subscribers. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to the same service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Dew for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial skincare guidance
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

7. Intellectual Property

Dew, its design, features, and content are owned by Founding Llama and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes in accordance with these terms.

8. Disclaimers

Dew provides skincare product analysis for informational purposes only. Dew does not provide medical advice. Always consult a dermatologist or healthcare professional for skin concerns.

Verdicts and recommendations are generated using AI and are based on publicly available ingredient information and your self-reported skin profile. Results may not be accurate in all cases. Dew is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Founding Llama shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of your use of Dew.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Dew at any time if you violate these terms. You may stop using Dew at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Dew after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
